The idea of using art to create community spaces runs like a red thread through "The Zurich Archipelago." This concept is also at the heart of the community knitting activities: knitting and crocheting take place together in the park. Individual pieces are created on-site and joined together into larger blankets. Working together makes a process visible in which individual contributions combine to form a collective shape.
