At Pakghor by Britto Arts Trust, people cook and eat together. The Social Kitchen becomes a meeting place and a forum for exchange in public space.
Different groups and organizations were invited to share their recipes and stories. Today, the Social Kitchen is organized by artist Patrick Hari.
Overview:
Lunch is cooked in the bamboo pavilion six days a week, and food is served from 12 to 2 p.m. at no cost. Anyone is welcome to watch, eat along, and join the conversation. Some of the ingredients used are grown in the garden next door.
