At Pakghor by Britto Arts Trust, people cook and eat together. The Social Kitchen becomes a meeting place and a forum for exchange in public space.
Different groups and organizations were invited to share their recipes and stories. Today, the Social Kitchen is organized by Micha Merz and Rodi.
"We love to cook under the motto 'Wege mine Roots' (Because of my roots), inspired by the song Roots by Phenomden, a well-known Zurich musician we loved listening to in our youth. Both of us are deeply rooted in Zurich and grew up here with friends from many different cultures, which is also reflected in our lunch menu. I am an independent restaurateur focusing on temporary projects, and Rodi is an architect with a big appetite and a love for great food."
